Our Team
Nicholas Calvert, Owner
A Steep Falls local, Nick started off as a career firefighter right out of high school and ran his plumbing company, Critical Plumbing, on the side. In 2019, he purchased Ward Water from his uncle, Charlie Ward, and combined Critical Plumbing and Ward Water. Nick is very involved in the community and is a Volunteer Firefighter with the Standish Fire Department.
Matt Morrill, Operations Manager
Matt has strong background in wells and water filtration. He began his career at a well drilling company, learning how to install well systems and understand well construction, which led to obtaining his journeyman license. Later, he transitioned to a plumbing company where he advanced from a field technician to a service manager. At Ward Water, he began as a technician installing filtration systems, servicing them, and handling well pump replacements. After earning his master plumbing license, he advanced to operations manager. In this role, he contributes to the company’s growth through innovative ideas and technician training. His responsibilities include daily activities such as customer education and diagnostics, where he shares his expertise in wells, plumbing, and filtration with everyone he meets. During his free time, he loves being with my wife and kids. They enjoy boating, fishing, and exploring new sights together. Additionally, He finds joy in working on landscaping projects and tinkering with his “big boy toys” at home.
Casey Larrivee, Office Manager
Aaron Dion, Sales Estimator
Aaron Dion, a native to the Greater Portland area, became Ward Water’s treatment specialist and Estimator more than 13 years ago. Prior to joining the Ward Water team Aaron was an estimator in the home remodeling industry for more than 9 years. One of Aaron’s earliest managers and mentors once gave him an invaluable piece of advice that he has never forgotten: “Always do your absolute best to put yourself in the shoes of the person in front of you…how would you want to be treated if this person was in your home, meeting with you and your family, asking for your direction and advice?” That advice and most invaluable perspective definitely stuck with Aaron. To this day it’s the foundation Aaron relies on for all of our relationships with Ward Water customers.
